Recipes
So, I'm tired of making the same things over again,
and I've been recipe hunting....
Anyone have some delicious simple recipes to share? :)
food.com (previously known as recipezaar.com) is my most favorite recipe website on the world wide web! I love that you can look up any millions of recipes, depending on what you feel like eating, and then sort them by rating! recipe #255686 is one that is on my menu for the week! :)
Here is an easy one from my own recipe file, but maybe you already have it...it's a pretty common one:
Chicken Enchiladas 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts 16 oz. sour cream 26 oz. cream of chicken soup (place one can's worth aside) 2, 2 1/4 oz. cans of sliced olives 2, 4 oz. cans of green chiles (or jalapenos if you like it warmer) 3 cups shredded cheddar tortillas Green taco sauce, if desired
Cook chicken (I boil mine). While chicken is cooling, in bowl, combine sour cream, all but one can of cream of chicken soup, olives, green chiles and 2 cups of the cheese. Shred chicken and add to sour cream mixture. Fill tortillas with mixture, roll up, and place in baking pan. Put remaining can of soup over the top. Pour on green taco sauce, and sprinkle with the last cup of cheese. Cover with foil and bake at 400 degrees for 20-30 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
